  3. well you can definitely take 5 pounds of body mass off quickly, but I can guarantee you it will not be fat. The best way is through proper diet and exercise. It should take you approx. a month or so. It really depends on your body....it could take even longer than that.

  5. That's "What's" (not wats) and to lose weight you need to burn more calories than you consume...so eat healthy (cut out sugar, junk food, sodas, etc) and exercise...you can lose those pounds healthily as quickly as 2 weeks with diligence....

Wrestlers run in several layers of clothing, limit water intake, and sometimes carry cups around to spit into to make weight for competition. This will all be gained back when you drink fluids. The appropriate way to lose FAT which I assume is what you want is to burn more calories than you take in. One pound of fat is equal to 3500 calories roughly. You create a 3500 calorie deficit and you will lose 1 pound of fat. Aerobic exercise burns stored fat calories best. Weight training builds muscle that in turn burns calories, although muscle does weigh more than fat. Anaerobic exercise is harder but makes the workout more interesting and makes you more fit. There's really no quick fix, but you may be able to sqeeze into that dress by losing the water weight, but I don't reccommend going overboard with the fluid restriction.
