How can i lose body fat?

Is eating around one meal a day and having healthy snacks and working out for about a 1 hour a healthy way of losing body fat?

  3. I suggest that you take up jogging or power walking. They both burn fat and I would eat at least 1600 calories a day.
  4. ONE meal a DAY? u need to eat THREE, not ONE and snacks are not technically meals. its a good thing ur worried about ur weight and excersising is definitely good start eating more low calorie foods and cut down on snacks, unless theyre like carrots or something...

  7. No. YOu must refuel your body like a car. You must eat ever 3 hours or put simply 5 times a day. Weight lifting and protein increased in diet can help fat into muscle. Excercise 3 to 5 times a week at 20 t 30 minute intervals. I learned all this on the 700 Club. Every Wednesday they have a show called,"Skinny Wednesday". It is about nutrition, weight lose and about getting lean.
  8. No, it is not a healthy way to lose fat or weight. Your body's metabolism will slow to compensate for the decrease in calories. Starvation is no way to go. Decreasing calories and exercising, especially cardio exercise like running, walking briskly, swimming will burn fat. Your body needs protein for muscle, if you cut your calories too low, your body will burn muscle for energy. The body is a machine, and it needs fuel to function properly. The only way to lose weight and maintain that weight loss is to eat fewer calories than you burn off with activity. Also, it has been shown that people who lose weight rapidly do not develop the healthy habits it takes to keep the weight off!

You really need to eat 6-7 small meals a day with healthy carbs and lean protein, every 2-3 hrs.(depending on your goal). and eating CLEAN food and watching your portion size will really help you to lose body fat.   10. You need more than three meals a day!! Unless you're snacks are huuuuuuge. And yes, workout for at least an hour.
  11. eating 5 to 8 small meals incuding snacks with working out an hour will work better. Try low carb, low fat, high fibre, high protein, and exercise. The foods are low caloried, and yet filling and healthy. It is my lifestyle now. I am on low carb, low fat, high fibre, high protein and a hour brisk walk 5 times a week, and I have lost 31lbs/14kg and gained better health. I am now maintaining my 108lbs/49kg for more than a year, with more fruits and complex carbs.   12. I used to have serious over weight problem for years and I was the kind of people quite easily get sick & tired. Thank god, once I met a new friend in a family gathering and he told me a very good site that I later found so helpful.
