Ways to lose pounds fast

Any suggestions on good ways to lose 60 pounds?

Not looking for the easiest way, but rather the best way to lose and keep off 60 pounds. Looking for any tips on specific exercises, foods, supplements, and anything else. Also, what is a good timeline for this kind of weight loss?

  1. Umm eat vegetables and fruits but dont starve your self if you dont eat anything u wont burn anything and since its summer, swimmin is a great idea to burn fat
  2. Cut out all coke products.....or go diet....if you must. NO SUGAR...lol. or try ur hardest...high protein. Daliy exercise. lots of water. Eat smaller portions of food....instead of eating 3 times a day eat 6 but small portions. Healthy food....
  3. Do what I did. I lost 76lbs in 8months with all this combined. http://www.beachbody.com p90x or power 90 http://www.weightwatchers.com points plan Xenadrine 8hr NRG appetite suppressent 7 day cabbage soup diet....ocassionally. Lose 10-17lbs in that week. Look it up on the net. Fasting ocassionally. 5 small meals a day about the size of your hand every 3 hours. Meals low in calories/fat/sugar. Fresh foods. Lots of water. I stopped working out, so I would of lost a hell of a lot more. good luck. I don't know why some people give me thumbsdown....I got all my friends hooked as well. Good luck.
  4. Liquid diet. This includes any liquids. Not food that used to be solid and you just threw it in a blender. Liquids that were liquids while in the store. This includes soups. No need for special shakes or drinks. I lost 10 lbs. in two weeks!
  5. Check the web for weight loss...there's billions of ideas, some that have worked for one person, to lose it quickly, but would never work for anyone else, let alone help keep it off. Here's the only way to lose any weight, and keep it off... LIFESTYLE CHANGE It's the most obvious, and yet the most difficult thing to change: no or low sugar intake, low calories, exercise DAILY, lots of water, and keeping tabs on all this...AT ALL TIMES!! (no "just one more" or "one last one" excuses) A diet pill/concoction (Dexitrim Max) can help for the short time, but stop the pill, and BAMB the weight is back on. Find a friend, even a long-distance one who you contact regularly to help with encouragement, tracking, and overall support. Good Luck Friend!!
  6. Eat very slowly. Never eat until you are full. Chew your food until it is a liquid before you swallow. Don't consume any artificial sweeteners. Drink two glasses of water with a bit of fresh squeezed lemon or lime juice an hour after you eat. Eat mostly raw fruits, nuts, and vegetables. Have a green salad every day. Eat a grapefruit or two every day. Don't eat bread or other wheat products. Don't eat processed food or food products with sugar. Don't eat for four hours before you go to sleep. Have some non-hydrogenated coconut oil every day (use it for cooking), it burns fat. Use unfiltered unpasteurized apple cider vinegar on your food (such as salads). Walk as much as possible with ankle weights. Climb stairs whenever you have the opportunity. Swim. Do leg lifts. Losing two to three pounds a week is optimal.
  7. Cut out all the junk. Stay away from processed foods, lots of fresh fruits and veggies. If you need something a little more structured, try a weight loss program like Weight Watchers or Nutri System. Personally I recommend Nutri System. For 60 lbs loss, I would allow yourself about 6 month time line. 8-10 weight loss per month is a good healthy rate that will give you better chances of keeping the weight off.
  8. After getting checked out because I was overweight and breathless when climbing stairs I was ordered to lose weight by the doctor. I was 180lbs and I'm 5' 6". I just cut down on my salt intake (because of my raised blood pressure and fluid retention); cut down on fats - dairy and animal - no biscuits or cakes unless homemade (I used half sunflower oil and half butter in recipes) and reduced the amount of food I was eating and excercised at least 30 minutes a day. Cycling or walking. I've lost at approx 36lbs I haven't weighed lately. It's taken about 18 months.
  9. Try a treadmill and eat fruits and vegetables.
