  1. cardio exercises.
  2. sex
  3. Running!!! Best thing you can do for yourself.
  4. and pleasurable too! definitely sex! ;-D)))
  5. MOVE! Stop sitting there in front of the computer, the TV or what ever and do something--anything! Don't eat everything on your plate and limit yourself to weight specific portions! Sure, that bacon double cheeseburger sounds great--but if you eat it, you've blown your daily allowance of food for the rest of the day or the next 2 meals!
  6. Weight training. Muscle will burn calories while you are at rest. Eat 5-6 small meals with a portion of lean protien at each meal to help your body maintain your muscle. Cardio helps and is great for you too - that is where you have your quick, intense calorie burn. Weight training takes longer, but will help reshape your body and help it burn more calories.
  7. Eat small meals throughout the day, so your metabolism speeds up as much as possible, and your body regulates it- it won't feel the need to store any fat because it's constantly being fed. Cut out junk food, fast food, extra sugar, soda etc. Drink lots of water. Oh, and remember to drink skim or fat free milk, work lean protein into your diet, and to eat lots of fruits and veges for the fiber. Get on an exercise program. While cardio does burn a lot of calories, lean muscle helps burns fat, so you need to fit in some strength training. A combination of circuit training and cardio worked wonders for me. Just make sure that you're monitoring your heart rate while you work out. You could be working "hard" without actually working hard. Between cutting some calories, and exercising, try to cut out 500 calories from your total caloric daily need. You will end up losing about one pound a week that way. Losing more than 3 pounds per week is not safe.
