- you have to burn 3600 calories to loose one lb. 10 lbs would be 36000 calories
- Each pound has 3500 calories. 10 pounds would mean 35000 calories.
- One pound is equal to 3500 calories... Good luck
- approximately 3000 calories per pound = 30,000 calories.
- The 3500 or 35000 is the correct one. Also typically you must consume about 1900 calories (Give or take a few hundred depending on your weight and activity level) to keep at your current weight. Do not ever go below 1200 calories a day without checking with a doctor. Dangurous!! But you could get down 500 calories a day and that would be a pound a week. If you excercise it could firm up your body also.
- 3,500 a pound. But that is not as bad as it sounds. for instance, a soda pop is about 140 calories. Give up 2 pops a day and that is 280 calories. In 10 days, that is 2800 calories gone! If you add exercise to that, you increase the net caloric loss even more. Think of other no-nutrient high-calorie foods you can eliminate. Good luck!
- 3500 calories in a lb so times that by 10 and you need to lose a total of 35,000 calories in all.
- 3500 calories are in a pound of food. If you make the calculation 3500 x 10 = 35,000 If you cut 500 calories every day in your diet, you can loose up to a pound in a week.
- 35000!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! yay!!
