What are fast and effective ways to lose about 10 pounds?

I am 19 and about a year ago I weighed about 110 ( I am 5'4 ). I have gained about 25 pounds in the last year I guess due to being out of highschool. I have tryed everything to lose the extra weight. people tell me Im skinny and I shouldnt worry about it. Well the only thing I can say is I guess I have a small frame. All that extra weight has done alot. I used to be thin and toned, not bony . I still had curves. I loved that way I was. But now I have cellulite and rolls where there use to be none. I hate it! I know alot to be healthy I dont starve my self I know that does more harm than good. I try to eat 5 small meals a day and I have started counting my calories, I eat between 1200 and 1500 a day. I am at the gym everyday, I do 15 minutes cardio and all toning with weights. I am trying but I dont see much of a difference. I cut the fast food as well. Is there anything else I can do? I am getting discouraged with all this work and counting and watching what I eat. I need some help!!

  1. Between 1200 and 1500 is not alot and if you are truly eating only that much then you would lose weight by not doing anything. You burn about 1700 calories a day and you would be losing weight anyways. Something isn't adding up.
  2. Up your cardio to about 30 minutes and vary your strength training. Pilates, as I've said many times here, is wonderful for toning up.
  3. you must have started this last week, because it is impossible to truly do all you stated and not lose weight over the period of a month.
  4. drink atleast 2 liters of water a day. thats 8 cups.
