  2. The first thing you need to do is balance your mineral levels, and by that I mean flushing out the sodium, which causes your body to hold on to water like crazy. For the next week, drink at least double the amount of water you normally do and really watch your salt/sodium intake. You will notice a drop of a few pounds fairly quickly. Next, allow yourself to eat only salad for dinner. No fatty dressing!! Lots of romaine, cucumbers, tomato, carrots...dressed with something like salsa, or balsamic vinegar. I even like La Victoria taco sauce with a squeeze of lime on my salad. Finally, get out each and every evening or afternoon and walk briskly for at least 30 minutes. Good luck!
