I'm having weightloss surgery and need to lose 30 pounds before they will schedule the surgery. What's the fastest way to lose 30 pounds i dont have to worry about keeping it off for more then a month.

Just try harder than you have ever tried before to: drink 8 glasses of water EVERY DAY. Exercise for 20 minutes EVERY DAY Do some weight training 3 times a week, whether it's with some 5 lb. hand weights you buy at Walmart for a few dollars, or if you have a gym you can go to. Join Curves for 3mos., and do your weight training there. That would be more fun than you can imagine. Don't eat candy, or chips, or soda pop, or cookies, or cake for 3 months. Except on Valentine's day, you can have a treat! And if it's your birthday you can have 1 piece of cake. Have a Hershey's kiss if you are having a chocolate craving, or something under 100 calories. Just be diligent and it can be done in 3 months time.

  11. I went on a low cholesterol diet & lost 26 #'s in less than a month. No sugar, flower, red meat, potatoes or rice. I ate white meat of turkey/chicken, Fish(tuna, salmon), baked or grilled. I allowed myself one donut & 1candy bar a week, no ice cream. Non fat yogert & took vitimins. Not easy, but it works! Eat lots of fruit & vegitables, fresh, if possible. Canned is loaded with either sugar or salt. I also watched my salt intake. If you try it, Good luck!
  12. its gonna take a mental change. u have to be ready to do everything u can and not give up. be persistent. u have to develop good healthy habits and lifestyle. no drinking, no smoking, that is if u do, if not then great. you have to do a minimum of 50 mins of cardio 5x/week- jogging, stepper, aerobics class, kick boxing, spinnin, swimming...whatever u like but you have to do it hard( recommend getting a heart rate monitor watch) that way you are working at 85% capacity. also you need strength training with weights at least 3 times a week for 1/2 hour. and also your diet. dont starve ur self cuz ur metabolism will slow down and ur body will go into starvation mode, u will end up loosing muscle mass and u wont loose weight as fast. i recommend six small meals a day. high protein-chicken breasts, steak, egg whites, oatmeal, sweet potatoes. drink lotsa water also, whey protein shakes. i promise u, if u do this u will not only loose weight, u will feel great. goodluck
