Ways to lose pounds fast

Good ways to lose 15-20 pounds!?! help!?

I weigh 135 lbs, and i have a lot of muscle mass, but i also have unwanted fat...And i want to get rid of it. See im only 14, and i want to lose 15-20 lbs before summer..or sooner if possible. Good ways? oh yeah, i am 5, 3'

  3. This is in the wrong section. But I would suggest jumping rope. Its an awesome cardio exercise. Do that for about 30 minutes at least 3 days a week and the pounds will drop eventually. Remember it takes patience to lose weight so don't expect to lose it all in a couple of weeks.
  4. Wel..how tall are you? 15-20 pounds isint 5 pounds,thats alot. Maybe you should just consult your docter. Or the easy way is just to watch what you eat,cut proportions,dont eat lots of fatty foods and get at least 30-60 minutes or cardio excersize everyday. Drink TONS of water. Jump roping is a good excersize because it works all the muscles.But running is the best. Remember it will be hard to stick to but it will get easier trust me,dont go on a crash diet,and those fad diets like slim-fast DONT work.Good Luck.

  6. Standard Answer is to exercise and reduce your calorie intake. When you exercise it's a good idea to do both cardio and strength building. Cardio burns calories -- try to do something that gets your heart rate up and keep it there for at least half an hour. Strength training is important because the more muscle you have the more calories you burn just by sittin there. As for diet try to eat more fiber, and avoid excessive sugars, fats, and breads that arent whole grain. I'd really recommend a book like "The Abs Diet" since it covers what to eat, and gives you daily excercises to do. If you buy that and follow it you should be pretty happy with the results after a month or so of following it. Best of luck getting the into shape!
  7. protein shake in the morning and one at night with a protein packed meal in between... then 2 hours of exercise a day or fresh squeezed juice only 2 glasses a day and 3 bowls of water cress soup breakfast lunch and dinner.. along with the 2 hours of exercise a day... sounds horrible.... and it is these are quick fixes that i use when i need to lose weight fast i average about 7 pounds a week and i normally do it for about 5 weeks...
  8. Best would be to consult your doctor. A good average is 2 lbs per week. Many schools these days do not offer a P.E. program, so try to add more activity into your diet, stay away from soda, and watch portion size. Just don't obsess.
