best ways to lose inches?

i want to lose some inches around my waist, stomach hips and thighs, any good excercise suggestions, gym is out of the question (can't get there) so at home is a good plus thanks a bunch

  1. I'm 12 and I have a 44 inch waist and 44 inch hips (my belly is fat). It's fairly easy to lose weight at home... I always stretch my hamstrings for my thighs, and I do about 50 sit-ups daily to get rid of my belly. Unfortunately, I eat a lot more junkfood than I should, so my belly gets fatter even though I exercise, so you should probably stick to a well-balanced diet as well... I'll follow my advice too! :)
  2. I've lost a lot of inches just doing things at home. I've been running and walking (run for a few minutes, walk for a few minutes) around 20 minutes to 30 minutes a day. I can't leave my house (I have small kids) so I run down my neighbour's driveway and up mine! Round and round like a mouse in a wheel lol, but I've seen big results. Also, I do crunches (different sorts) and push ups every second day. I lost about 5 inches off my waist in 2 months. The other thing of course is that if you want to lose inches you will want to lose some pounds, so you need to start watching what you eat. I started by counting calories to get an idea of how much I could eat in a day (say 1500 if you're losing) - you soon get a rough idea of what you can eat without having to count.
