my boss is doing this and I am trying to explain that this is NOT a healthy way to diet. Give me some explanations please so I can prove to him that this is not healthy in the long run! thanks!!

  1. no ... Think closely about what we're about to tell you, since it's going to change the way you think about dieting... FOOD is more powerful than any prescription weight loss pills, because the FOOD that you eat can either make you THIN or FAT. You don't get fat because of a lack of exercising, that's a myth. You get fat because you don't eat the right foods at the right intervals each day. Also, the pattern that you choose to eat your meals each day is more powerful than any prescription weight loss pills. This is true because your body is like an "engine" and it only needs certain foods at certain intervals each day, and if you don't eat the right foods at the right times then it won't burn those calories -- and you'll wind up storing those calories as fat tissue. (Hint: You need to eat more than 3 times per day to lose weight, but we'll show you the details later). You have gotten overweight by eating the wrong foods, that much is a fact. And guess what? You can get SLIM by eating the RIGHT FOODS at the RIGHT INTERVALS each day. It's not really any more complicated than that, and the way to start losing weight has nothing to do with starving yourself or jogging. The reason you cannot lose weight by starving yourself (using a low calorie diet) is because your metabolism will detect any major drop in calories and it will then ADJUST ITSELF by burning fewer calories each day. For example: If you begin eating 2,500 calories per day then your metabolism will adjust itself so that your body begins burning 2,500 calories per day. If you try to starve yourself by suddenly eating 1,000 calories per day then your metabolism will again ADJUST ITSELF so that your body begins to burn only 1,000 calories per day. That's why you have failed in your past dieting attempts, that's why you always seem to fail when you try and starve yourself. click here to find out more: http://webpros21.4idiots.hop.clickbank.net
  2. Well, depending on his weight, the 1800 calories is probably ok - it depends on how big he is. Bigger needs more calories, even if you're trying to lose. And he's a guy, so that counts for more too. But the one meal a day isn't so hot = you're better off to eat 6 meals a day totalling the 1800 calories. It keeps the metabolism going, less chance of blowing the diet because you find you're suddenly hungry and decide to eat the fridge, and a better chance of eating a more balanced diet.
  3. if your boss is eating only one meal a day im guessing its probably midday or at night. that will make him/her GAIN weight. if you dont eat balanced meals throughout the day, epecially breakfast, your body's metabolism will slow down because it thinks it wont be fed, so it tries to save energy. that means when your boss shovels 1800 calories worth of food down in one sitting, it is much harder for their body to metabolise it. to make up for the slow metabolism the extra calories are stored as fat cells. even if they dont believe that theyre eating unhealthily, if theyre that determined to lose weight this will probably convince them to eat more smal balanced meals, in the long run accomplishing your goal. hope that helps :)
  4. its unhealthy bc it slows the metabolism to a scccrreeeeccchhh hault. one of my friends used to eat a doublecheeseburger meal from mcdonalds every day and thats it, he did it for a long time AND worked construction, guess what. he got where he couldnt loose any weight... tho he was pretty cut, his metab crashed
  5. Explain to him that when u eat once a day, ur metabolism, the rate at which ur body burns calories slows down, so all the stuff that u eat gets turned into fat. If u eat several small meals a day, u will speed up ur metabolism, & ur body will burn off the calories alot quicker. Also, tell him to start workingout & exercising (if he isn't already), & drink lots of water. Remember, the body is like well-oiled machine, it needs fuel. So, take care of it! :)
  6. NOOOOO! your body needs food to create energy and if your boss is doing this they will have no energy to do work or EXERCISE which to lose weight you NEED If your boss is only eating that much calories then that persons body will change thier eating habbits to only burning 1800 calories naturaly the average is 2400

  8. If he eats it all at once, he will just be hungry the rest of the day... now 3 - 5 meals a day totalling just under 1800 calories is healthy... because he won't be starving all day, he will be satisfied. Hope I helped
