ways to lose body fat?

when i was 12 i weighed 180 pounds. now i am 15 and weigh 160. i'm 6'2 now and am alot skinnier than when i was. i have been taking creatine for a month and protein for 6 months. i lift 4 days a week and run 2 days a week. i still have extra fat mainly on my chest area, and also have some on my belly. how do i lose the extra fat?

  1. You're young, not overweight, and active, so I wouldn't worry too much about it. Have you had your bodyfat tested? A personal trainer can do it with calipers, you can use a bodyfat scale if you have access to one, or there are some estimators you can probably find online that will give you a number if you put your measurements in. If your bodyfat is below 15%, you're probably doing well. Just realize that your body will determine where to store fat genetically, you can't pick and choose where to lose the fat. Think about trying HIIT, high intensity interval training. Also, exercising in the morning before you eat has been shown to burn more fat than later in the day.
