When your on the go or at work, bring dried fruit or those flavored quaker rice cakes. They come in tons of flavors now. You could make some smoothies too. You might also try using SOY protien shakes. Replace breakfast or lunch with it with a piece of fruit or salad or light sandwich. It doesen't make gain muscle like a body builder, just lean muscle. When you do your cardio, switch up your routine. Couple days workout for thirty to forty minutes but only be on a machine for ten of that. So you are jumping from machine to machine. This will boost your metbolism thus making you burn more calories and getting more out of your workout!! You'll build endurance too.
