  1. Damage? There isnt damage just improvement. All you need to do is eat right, and jog because jogging is better, you are balancing running and walking, you dont get as tired as running, but having almost the same results if not the same.
  2. Jogging burns more calories but is more damaging to the joints, especially the knees. Walking is meditative and soothing as well as beneficial to your heart and waistline. If you intend to start a jogging program, start slowly and get good shoes, properly fitted. Check online for a good program - Self magazine's website is a good resource. So is that of Prevention magazine.
  3. jogging is good to lose ponds quickly than walking...and both can injury u BUt aif u r doing it in a balance.
  4. Walking puts a little bit less stress on your knees than jogging. If you walk to lose weight, though, you need to make sure that you're walking quickly and not casually strolling around the block. Gradually work up to a 4 mile per hour pace and pump your arms while walking. The Walk Away the Pounds DVDs are also great for this.
  5. Well it depends on you weight, you need go look for the ideal heart rate for a cardio workout (for your weight age height) and maintain that heart rate.
  6. BUY`yourself`a Treadmill it dose`all 3`
  7. Well, it depends if you're overwhieght or just trying to loose a little weight for bikini season. If you're physically fit, running will work faster. Until you get used to it, your ankles might hurt a little and you'll get aches in the morning after you run. Also, most people get side crampes when they run at first. The reason your legs and ankles will hurt is because running is an impact sport. But, your body will become accustomed to running soon. Walking is better for someone overwhieght. You should walk at a brisk paces and possibly run a little bit (just short, bursting jogs). Also, watch your diet. (Eat losts of fruits and vegetables!) After becoming fairly fit, you can start to run.
