Best way to burn body fat as fast as possible? (18 year old male)?

I'm an 18 year old male. i'm not really looking to lose weight (i'm 6'2", 165 pounds)..but that's inevitable when losing body fat. I have flab around in certain areas like chest and stomach, and i'm trying to get my abs to show I know there's no exercise to target specific bodyfat..but i've been running a little over a mile everyday for a few weeks and it hasn't seemed to do any good. i'm also lifting weights (i'm weak, so exercises with 15 lb dumbbells) so what would be good exercises to effectively burn body fat, as fast as possible?

  1. Doing cardiovascular exercises around the regions you are trying to target can help you. Let me explain. Since you are trying to lose body fat around your chest and stomach you could possibly take up something like boxing or even something fun like kyaking. I'm not really someone who likes to plug television exercise equipment, but Tae-Bo really helped me with this same problem
  2. Drink nothing but water and watch your calorie intake. Try to stay stay in a range of 2000 - 3000 calories a day. Eating 5 small meals a day will be better than eating three larger ones. Stick with sit-ups and push-ups. Track the calories you eat and burn each day. When doing cardio exercises the goal is to get your heart rate up and keep it up. If a mile isn't working step it up, do a mile a half. Give that a month, you'll see results.
