Ways to lose pounds fast

Best way to lose body fat.?

I'm a 17 year old guy who really wants to lose weight. Not fast, but steadily since I want to get into shape for summer (I live in Australia) so I basically have 4 months and I want to lose about 15kg. I would like to know some great tips in exercising for losing body fat - my main concern. I'm also planning to get a treadmill since I am at my final year in high school and find it difficult to make time since my exams are only 13 weeks away - Is getting a treadmill worth it?

  1. Start eating 6 small healthy meals a day and start walking for an hour every day. Then add to it. Start doing sit ups and use your treadmill! Treadmills are known for becoming clothes hangers so maybe you can join a gymn that does student memberships??? Good luck!
  2. dont bother with a treadmill... if you want to run, go for a run! Try a workout dvd for inspiration- cheaper than a treadmill and you can still do it in your own house. And of course cut out high sugary /fatty foods from your diet. good luck!
  3. if you dont have access to an open space or the conditions outside are not safe or suitable for running then yes a treadmill is perfect but if not then get a good pair of running shoes and an ipod with sum of your favourite songs and hit the open road, running is the best way to lose weight, do 45 minutes 4-5 times a week and you will see an amazing difference in your physical appearance, and will feel mentally stronger, it will also take your mind away from the stress of exams and you'll probably acheive better results. good luck
  4. treadmills are good for exercise but why not just go outside and enjoy the weather around you. people tend to get a better workout outside than on machines! eating better is also a good way to lose weight, try less cabs, no sugar, also if you drink soda's you should stop. there the worst you can do to yourself; liquid calories! don't just think about running or walking. weight training is also a great way to get in shape. well cardio gets rid of a lot of calories at once, weight training losses calories even after your done working out, thats why people tend to feel sore; their really losing more calories! a healthy balance of cardio, weight training, and healthy eating will get you the results you want within 4 months! Good luck!! i hope this helped!
