Is there a faster way to tone the body, and lose fat than running?
Im not too fond of running since I finished my season of cross country and I was wondering if there is anyone who knows a lot about this and can help me out

- circuit training at your local gym
- I suggest you incorporate some weight lifting as well. Again the key is to lift weights that are challenging and keeping your rest periods short so you can increase the amount of calories you burn and with the increased intensity you will also elevate your metabolism too. - I actually lost 10 pounds this week playing with my son's Wii, believe that! 30 minutes a day of the boxing game, wow! My arms are kind of sore but I found my thing now. Wii boxing!
- Contrary to what most people mistakenly believe, long duration, low intensity cardio is actually one of the least effective ways to lose fat and get fit. If you want much better results in less time, you'd be better off following a comprehensive fitness program designed around full body resistance training and high intensity cardio intervals. Probably the best program out there to learn from and follow is one called Turbulence Training by Craig Ballantyne. - Pillaties. (sp). or Yoga.
- The fastest and most efficient way to loose fat is weight training, bar none. Cardio exercise is slow and inefficient for this since often your kinetic and potential energy are close to balanced in much cardio work outs, especially running. Unless you are being pushed by someone like a coach.
- try jump ropin, but try to NOT bend ur knees. i lost alot of weight doin that...maybe too much though
- lift weights, don't do heavy lifting, but more reps like 15 to 20 reps. Do it slow, don't try to move you're whole entire body as if you're trying to get momentum. It doesn't help if you do that, also, eating right helps too, but I usually don't eat right anyway, so the eating right thing is out the window. Also, I run a lot, just to stay in shape, and go to the gym to tone up a lil bit.
