Ways to lose pounds fast

Which way can you burn more calories and lose weight quicker?

I just got a treadmill and I have been walking about 15 minutes a day on it working my way up. I like to run too, but I don't want to start out too fast. Which is better for you... walking or running? Need some advice!!!

  1. just do whichever you feel like at the time. start with walking, then slow jog and work up to a run if you feel like. you don't have to work yourself to hard. the fact that you are active and moving is most important
  2. Running has more benefits than does walking. You should run, run stairs, jump rope, etc. to build bone density. If you get any joint pain, you should stop and consult a doctor.
  3. mile for mile they burn about the same as long as your heart rate is at it's target level. walking has less wear and tear on the joints and muscles..running get you there faster.
