- EXERCISE STOP EATING JUNK FOOD change your lifestyle (it's the only way that works) do not... I repeat DO NOT use any sort of fad dieting. You'll screw up your metabolism and gain a lot more weight back and make it harder to lose weight in the future.

- Most high schools have weight rooms that you can go to after school and work out. There are usually posters and stuff on the walls telling you how to use the machines and different exercises on them. If there aren't any signs or you don't know where to start, ask the attending teacher that will most likely be there.

- trampolining is a great sport for losing weight, i hae known people that have lost over 2 stone, without really changing their eating habbits much, and you will also find its not just a girl sport, the boys at my club are bettetr than the girls :) hope this helped you.
- I put my laptop on a tray that is hooked to my stationary bike so I can ride that so much I don't notice. Do you have music you can just dance to each day. If you just move around like that for an hour a day you will actually end up loving it. If you want to join a health club you can swim each day but if you live somewhere cold just move around at home for about an hour each day...drink water as soon as you wake up. I drink on bottle then drink through out the day but not at night cause it is important not to have to wake up & pee but to sleep straight through. Imagine you look good & you will.

- as in WEIGHT(to like fit in a certain weight for sports): don't try and go all muscle cause muscle weighs more than fat. as in BODY FAT(if you want to be physically slimmer/fit): hit the gym, go running, eat about 2,000 calories a day(or whatever you're perfect number [mines 1,694] cause it's different for everybody) 2,000 is the average adult. - Do you have a dog?? Walking a dog every day for 30-60 minutes will walk that weight right off. When I was a teenager, my friend and I walked our entire neighborhood every evening after dinner one summer (longer than 30-60 mins) and she lost like 40 Lbs. It's easy to do and it's free...
- As a teenage boy, you should have a pretty fast metabolism so it shouldn't be too hard. Don't necessarily cut down on what you eat but change your eating habbits (this will help you keep the weight off too). Swap a chocolate bar for a banana. Eat loooads of fruit and veg to fill you up and cut back on fatty sugary foods. keep them as a treat, dont give them up all together. Eat well rounded meals containing lean meat such as chicken and fish, carbs like bolied or jacket potatoes (not chips) and loads of veg. excercise! sport maybe? maybe you could try going for a run...or even just a brisk walk for 30mins every day would do it!
- you should only be losing weight if your overweight don't diet because as soon as you go off the diet you will gain it all back, just eat healthy, and exercise the way to lose weight is to burn more calories you eat. but remember muscle weighs more then fat so if you decide to lift weights you might actually gain weight (in muscle mass)

- Find a sport you are passionate about. Especially one that doesn't require a partner if you have noone to play it with, like tennis. Basketball is a good one. My son has lost weight fast playing that all by himself. Swimming if you have access to a pool or lake or ocean. Running........ not easy to get into right away but if you can use a portable CD player and play music that motivates you it makes it more fun. I hope this helps - and if you are drinking colas - stop! Or cut down considerably. (Rinse yourmouth out with water if you can't stop after drinking one). I've known people who just cut cokes out of their 'diet' and lost weight from that one change! Also, they have acid in them that eats the enamel off your teeth....... so you'll end up needing dental care sooner than you should.

First, tell yourself everyday that you can do it, even if you slip for a 4 days!...First of all, think of the positives not the negatives..but first here are the negatives Drink Alkaline water to remove toxins from the body. You can buy magnetic alakline stciks to put in your water. Do NOT eat anythig with asparatame!!!!!!! So no" no sugar added" garbage. Don't eat anything with sugar and salt. I know it seems hard..but here it gets easier Go for walks, just walk everywhere you go! Eat lots of green veggies, potaotes are cool and all, but try to just eat healthy. Drink loads of water. no pop anymore, no fake food. - Hmm. Teenage boys differ so much in personality that it really matters what they're into to get them moving. Think. What do you like to do? The beauty of being a male trying to loose weight rather than a female, is that you've naturally got more endorphins in your body, making exercising easier and possibly more fun. Embrace it. :] If you're into video games, try DDR to loose weight (it CAN be done.) The best thing for me is finding awsome music and going to town on the treadmill or cross trainer. It's amazing how much music can pump you up and make you feel alive, you know? Imagine you're a super hero running at the speed of light to save the city. It's all in the brain. What about sports? I understand that not every teenage guy is into sports - it's so stereotypical. They are other ways out. Read labels, run around the neighborhood (if the weather's nice), take time doing something physical instead of your regular afternoon snack binge, and let the music get you pumped. It's harder to think about going to the gym than actually working out when you get there. This is coming from experience. I look at it this way (I saw this on TV. :p). Just like everything else in this harsh world, there is no free ride to success. You can either starve yourself to loose weight, or eat appropriately and exercise. You gotta work for it man. 20 lbs will be cake to knock off for someone your age/gender. But don't think about cake if you succumb to temptation easily. :p Think about apples and how sweet, fresh and crispy that are. Mmmm.
- running and weight lifting helped me lose over 30 lbs last summer and im 15. The best way i foundo ut was to not stick with one thing, but do varieties like....run 45 min. monday, weight lift cycle tues., 1 hr. run, arm lift weights...etc. Also drink lots of water that really helps and eat proportions. If you exercise at least 1 hr. a day, you will lose weight in no time, just stick with it.
- in my opinion you can start swimming. you will lose some pounds and if you are overweight to start with you will also put on muscle a lot faster than say a skinny person. but i dont think you should take any pills or anything because that will make you feel bad. eat healthy food and try not to eat sweets and you will feel better. also try drinking green tea cuz it boosts your metabolism and burns some calories. but dont get addicted. you shouldnt consume more than 3 cups a day.good luck!!!
